Rice Breaks Ground on New Kraft Hall

Rice University officially broke ground on September 13th for the new Patricia Lipoma Kraft and Jonathan A. Kraft Hall for Social Sciences. The new facility designed by Rogers Partners will be the new home of the School of Social Sciences and will "serve as a point of connection between our scholars, community, the city of Houston, the state of Texas and the wider world" according to Dean Merlo. Rob, along with Associate Partners Vince Lee and Tyler Swanson, were delighted to attend the ceremony.
