New St. Pete Pier Wins Green Good Design Award

The New St. Pete Pier is a recipient of a 2017 Green Good Design Award sponsored by the The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The awards recognize “outstanding individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and institutions - together with their products, services, programs, ideas, and concepts-that have forwarded exceptional thinking and inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable universe”. The New St. Pete Pier will create a destination that embraces the pier’s role both as an icon for the City of St. Petersburg and an integral part of the vitality of downtown – a place for tourists and the local community alike, one that honors its history, while establishing a new icon for a 21st century public place.

Buckhead Wins Green Good Design Award

Buckhead Park Over GA400 is a recipient of a 2017 Green Good Design Award sponsored by the The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The awards recognize “outstanding individuals, companies, organizations, governments, and institutions - together with their products, services, programs, ideas, and concepts-that have forwarded exceptional thinking and inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable universe”. Buckhead Park Over GA400 will make strategic connections over GA400 and MARTA to enhance the life of the district, tailored to the specific qualities of the site and authentic to the Atlanta region.

Rogers Partners to Design Pavilion in Galveston

Rogers Partners has been chosen to design a new 50,000 sf pavilion for Stewart Beach in Galveston, TX! The new design will replace an existing pavilion and provide space for administrative offices, maintenance and storage, along with public amenities such as restrooms, a community room, and concessions.

Rogers Partners Announces Staff Promotions

L. Tyler Swanson, AIA, ASLA - Associate Partner. Tyler is the Project Manager and key design team member for Buckhead Park Over GA400 in Atlanta, GA, the Mid-Main development in Houston, TX, and President’s Park South on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Prior to moving to Texas to head our Houston office, Tyler led the landscape design of Kerr Couch Park in Oklahoma City, OK, and multiple public space projects in New York City, including the Brooklyn Navy Yard Memorial Landscape, Pier A in Battery Park City, and 200 Water Street in lower Manhattan.

Stefano Paci, RA - Associate. Stefano joined the practice in 2016 as an Associate, bringing over 25 years of design and management experience. He is the Project Manager and key design team member for a confidential, new athletic school facility in Manhattan.

Kate Larsen, AIA - Associate. Kate is the Project Manager for the competition winning New St. Pete Pier in St. Petersburg, FL. Currently in design, the existing pier is being transformed into a new multi-modal and multi-experiential destination park.
