Madison Square Boys & Girls Club Unveiled

Rob and Betsy attended a cocktail reception on Monday night hosted at Minton’s by co-owners Dick Parsons and Alexander Smalls. At the event, the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club unveiled designs for a new four-story, 45,000-sq.-ft. flagship Clubhouse for young people ages 6-18, to be located in Central Harlem. Green Space Above a Freeway and Commuter Railway

Buckhead Park Over GA400 is featured on Dezeen - our new collaborative project with Nelson Byrd Woltz that is seen to be "a unique, world-class civic space that is both beautiful and functional." The park would help stitch together parts of the Buckhead neighbourhood that became disconnected when the highway was built there in the 1990s.

Henderson-Hopkins Wins AIA Education Facility Award

The Henderson-Hopkins School in East Baltimore has won an Award of Excellence from the AIA's Committee on Architecture for Education. The awards this year "illustrate an emphasis on innovative building technologies and a fundamental connection to surrounding communities." We are especially honored by this accolade considering the school's transformative presence in its neighborhood and its devotion to serving the people and children of East Baltimore.

Buckhead CID Leader Discusses Grand Vision for Park Over GA400

Buckhead CID Executive Director Jim Durrett has become one of Buckhead Park Over GA400's most vocal proponents, given the vision and design concepts that he and other members of the Buckhead Community Improvement District presented Wednesday to the public, together with Rob Rogers and our design partner, Nelson Byrd Woltz. According to Durrett, "People need a place… to be able to gather, to be able to decompress in the outdoors, to be in a peaceful environment, and that’s what this is going to provide."

Buckhead Park Over GA400 Unveiled

The Buckhead Community Improvement District has unveiled the initial concept designs for a proposed world-class public space that would span over GA400 in Buckhead, Atlanta. Conceptualized as an inter-woven and inter-linked public realm with three distinct zones of programming; the commons, the plaza, and the gardens, the park was designed to improve connectivity and the quality of life for residents, workers, and visitors alike. The design, in collaboration with our partner Nelson Byrd Woltz, was presented to the BCID board this morning with a public presentation to follow this afternoon.

Reade Street Talks: Jenny Sabin

We were honored to host Jenny Sabin, Principal of Jenny Sabin Studio, Principal of the Sabin Design Lab at Cornell University, and the Arthur L. and Isabel B. Wiesenberger Assistant Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, on Thursday night. Through lively conversation Jenny discussed her innovative and cross-disciplinary methods which foster new approaches to design, research, and production.
