The New St. Pete Pier has won a 2016 AIANY Merit Award in Urban Design from AIA New York! This new public realm will provide year-round activity along the entire length of the new pier and seamlessly integrate with downtown St. Pete's ongoing renaissance. We would like to thank our partners ASD|SKY and Ken Smith Workshop for their collaboration on this endeavor.
Mid-Main, a new transit-oriented development in Midtown Houston, is topping out! Located along the recently expanded Red-Line transit corridor, this project is part of an explosion of new vitality in Houston’s heralded Midtown Cultural Arts District; the entertainment hub of the city and home to institutions like The Ensemble Theater, Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston, and Diverse Works.
The Henderson-Hopkins School in East Baltimore has been awarded a 2016 AIA Institute Honor Award for Architecture. As the first new public school in Baltimore in 30 years this school has been a catalytic addition to both its neighborhood and the city at large. This project represents what architecture for education can really be about: enabling students, teachers and the community and we are proud to have helped shape a bright future for the children of East Baltimore.
