Henderson-Hopkins Wins Silver in American Architecture Prize

The Henderson-Hopkins School has won silver in the Architectural Design/Eduational Building category of the first annual American Architecture Prize! The American Architecture Prize recognizes those architects whose "innovative buildings, designs and landscapes can help redesign the way we live our lives for the better and enable us to make the most of the space we have." We are honored to recieve such and esteemed award.

Henderson-Hopkins Wins AIA Education Facility Award

The Henderson-Hopkins School in East Baltimore has won an Award of Excellence from the AIA's Committee on Architecture for Education. The awards this year "illustrate an emphasis on innovative building technologies and a fundamental connection to surrounding communities." We are especially honored by this accolade considering the school's transformative presence in its neighborhood and its devotion to serving the people and children of East Baltimore.

St. Pete Wins Gold at International Design Awards

The New St. Pete Pier has been recognized with a Gold Medal in Urban Design at the 9th annual International Design Awards! Together with our partners ASD|SKY and Ken Smith Workshop, we look forward to bringing a vibrant and adaptable recreation space to the new pier and to St. Petersburg's rich public realm.

Architizer A+ Award for Henderson-Hopkins School

The Henderson-Hopkins School has won the Jury Award at the Architizer A+ Awards, in the Architecture + Urban Transformation category. Associate Partner Vince Lee and Associate Kip Katich were in attendance at the awards gala to receive this honor. Henderson-Hopkins, jointly operated by the City of Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University, was the first new public school to be built in the past 30 years and is meant to be a catalyst for change in East Baltimore.

AIA NY Merit Award for The New St. Pete Pier

The New St. Pete Pier has won a 2016 AIANY Merit Award in Urban Design from AIA New York! This new public realm will provide year-round activity along the entire length of the new pier and seamlessly integrate with downtown St. Pete's ongoing renaissance. We would like to thank our partners ASD|SKY and Ken Smith Workshop for their collaboration on this endeavor.

Henderson-Hopkins Receives AIA Institute Honor Award

The Henderson-Hopkins School in East Baltimore has been awarded a 2016 AIA Institute Honor Award for Architecture. As the first new public school in Baltimore in 30 years this school has been a catalytic addition to both its neighborhood and the city at large. This project represents what architecture for education can really be about: enabling students, teachers and the community and we are proud to have helped shape a bright future for the children of East Baltimore.
